A striking early 20th-century figural print presents a fashionably dressed woman posed beside a window and heavy curtain, rendered in bold black-and-cream linear patterning with strong Art Deco character. The elongated figure, angular interior setting, geometric floor border, and dense carved linework give the composition a dramatic graphic presence, while the simplified forms and high contrast lend the image a distinctly modern 1930s feel. The work is pencil inscribed beneath the image “Earl M. Washington / 1933 N.Y.C.”, identifying the artist, date, and location. Presented under glass with a wide neutral mat in a simple black frame. The frame shows scattered scuffs from age and handling, with slight separation visible at the lower right corner; the paper backing on the reverse also shows tears and losses. Sight measures 8.75" x 4.25". Frame measures 19" x 15".
