Oil on canvas harbor scene by R. Andrews, depicting a lively waterfront with colorful moored fishing boats and sailboats set against a hillside town rising beyond the water. The composition is executed with broad, expressive brushwork and areas of textured impasto, particularly throughout the blue water, reflections, boats, rooftops, and distant shoreline. Strong accents of red, yellow, white, blue, and muted gray-green give the scene a vibrant coastal atmosphere, while the elevated structure on the distant hill adds architectural interest to the background. Signed “R. Andrews” at the lower left. Presented in a silver-tone molded frame. The frame shows scuffs, scratches, and a few small nicks and finish losses at the corners consistent with age and handling. Sight measures 39.75" x 29.5". Frame measures 44.5" x 34.75".
