Signed oil on canvas landscape depicting a sweeping vineyard or cultivated valley scene, with rows of fields descending toward a distant settlement and layered blue-gray mountains beyond. The foreground is dominated by densely painted grapevines and foliage in warm autumnal tones of gold, rust, green, and burgundy, executed with expressive palette-knife and impasto work that gives the composition pronounced texture and depth. The work is signed in red at the lower left, though the signature is difficult to decipher. Presented in a dark wood-tone frame with gilt decorative inner molding. The frame shows scuffs, scratches, some separation at the joints, and a few small nicks and finish losses at the corners consistent with age and handling. Sight measures 39.5" x 29.5". Frame measures 46.5" x 36.5".
