This oil on canvas pastoral landscape depicts a small herd of cattle moving through a sunlit meadow beside a reflective pond by W. Voter, with a rustic fence crossing the foreground and broad rolling countryside extending beneath a softly clouded blue sky. The composition is centered on several white and brown cattle, including a calf at left, rendered with warm naturalistic coloring and gentle modeling that gives the scene a traditional rural character.
