A substantial handcrafted SARDA sterling silver Bali-style necklace w/ a large teardrop simulated fire opal pendant on a hand-woven byzantine chain. The chain is worked in a dense byzantine / kingsbraid Bali-style construction w/ a hidden hook clasp finished by an openwork Baroque scroll and fleur-de-lys back plate. Two hammered flared bar stations flank the front — one set w/ a round faceted pink stone (likely pink topaz or pink CZ) in a granulated bead frame — linking to the central pendant. The pendant is a hammered baroque cartouche panel w/ scrolled fleur-de-lys terminals and applied granulated florets, centered by a teardrop simulated fire opal cab (dichroic lab opal w/ pink, orange, green, and gold play-of-color) framed by a twisted rope wire bezel. Pendant reverse stamped ‘925’; bail tab stamped ‘SARDA’ (SARDA / PTI — Bali-Indian sterling w/ dichroic stones). Chain 26 in. total (13 in. drop); pendant 2.37 in. long x 0.77 in. wide at central panel. Weight 46g. Shows light polish wear and tarnish patina in the recesses of the hammered and openwork areas consistent w/ handmade work; fire opal and pink stone remain secure w/ intense color and no chips visible in the provided images; hook clasp opens and closes securely. All items are sold as-is.
