A large vertical two-stone Navajo statement ring by silversmith Joe Tom, signed T. Two oval turquoise cabochons in bright blue-green with soft tan and darker matrix veining are stacked one above the other, each set in a serrated sawtooth bezel with twisted rope wire trim. The mount is elaborately embellished in classic Navajo style with hand-cut sterling feather appliques, scrolled wire tendrils, and applied silver bead accents flanking both stones and filling the negative space around them. The reverse of the head is stamped STERLING and T, the recorded hallmark for Navajo silversmith Joe Tom. Face approx 2.11 x 0.95 in.; each turquoise cabochon approx 0.71 x 0.48 in.; ring size 6.5; weight 19g. Condition: light overall patina and minor surface wear consistent w/ age and hand-fabricated Native American silverwork; both turquoise cabochons secure in their bezels and free of visible chips or fractures; applied feathers, scrollwork, and beadwork all intact with no missing elements; shank solid with no visible bends, splits, or resizing marks.
