A Native American-style sterling silver shadowbox bear paw jewelry set attributed to Navajo silversmith Jimmie Patterson, consisting of one lapis ring and one pair of matching turquoise dangle earrings. Ring: elongated oval sterling face with cut-out bear paw pad and claws over an oxidized recess, centering a serrated-bezel oval lapis lazuli cabochon with natural pyrite flecking; split shank; interior stamped STERLING with a single P maker’s mark for Jimmie Patterson. Face approx 0.86 x 0.45 in.; ring size 8; weight 1g. Earrings: pair of two-tier shadowbox bear paw drops in sterling, each tier set with a small round turquoise cabochon in a serrated bezel over an oxidized recessed field, joined by a jump ring and finished with post-and-butterfly backs. Full drop approx 1.61 in.; each paw approx 0.53 in. wide; combined weight 3g. Condition: light overall patina and minor surface wear consistent w/ age; lapis and turquoise cabochons secure in their bezels and free of chips or cracks; ring shank solid with no visible bends; earring posts straight and jump-ring connections intact; original butterfly backs present.
