A lot of three pairs of vintage Mexican sterling silver screw-back earrings, all in the mid-20th-century Taxco and Guadalajara tourist style. Pair one: elongated teardrop earrings set w/ iridescent abalone shell cabochons framed by twisted rope silver bezels, stamped STERLING 0925 TAXCO on the reverse; approx 0.77 x 0.57 in. Pair two: openwork rectangular frames centered w/ oval mother-of-pearl cabochons within rope-twist bezels, flanked by scrollwork and beaded accents; approx 1.05 x 0.93 in. Pair three: shield-form earrings featuring carved translucent green glass Aztec or Mayan mask faces surrounded by silver bead and scroll borders, marked HECHO EN MEXICO / GUADALAJARA on the reverse; approx 0.90 x 0.83 in. Combined weight 23g. Condition: all three pairs show light surface wear and minor tarnish consistent w/ age; stones and glass intact; screw-back mechanisms functional but stiff on some pairs.
