Antique Adlake Non-Sweating four-way railroad switch signal lamp manufactured by the Adams & Westlake Company of Chicago. Features a black-painted metal body, carrying handle, fork-style mounting base and four colored bullseye glass lenses. These lamps were positioned beside railroad tracks to indicate the alignment of a track switch. The top is embossed "THE ADLAKE NON-SWEATING LAMP CHICAGO." No specific railroad ownership marking was located in the supplied photographs. Measures approximately 19.5 inches tall to the top of the handle. Early 20th century, approximately 1910s–1930s. Untested. The interior burner, oil font and chimney are not present. Displays oxidation, paint loss, scratches and wear appropriate for authentic railroad use and age.
