PATTERNS FROM THE YONGZHENG PERIOD OF THE QING DYNASTY. <br>Height:6cm (2.36in) , Diameter:31cm (12.20in) A large imperial plate of Yongzheng reign, with wide flared rim, gently curved wall and neatly?trimmed foot ring. The central medallion within double circles is painted with a tied bouquet of lotus blossoms, seed?pods and leaves, symbolizing integrity and uprightness. The inner wall is densely decorated with scrolling seasonal flowers with winding interlaced branches. The underglaze cobalt presents pure bright blue tone against lustrous glaze, rendered with fluent precise lines in well?balanced composition. The base bears six?character regular script mark ??Da Qing Yong Zheng Nian Zhi?? inside double blue circles.
