SEAL MADE BY NEIWU FU ZAO BAN. <br>Height:5.2cm (2.05in) , Width:9.5cm (3.74in) , Weight:521g (1.149lb) A square imperial Tianhuang seal of Qing Dynasty, crafted by the Imperial Workshop. The stone is fine?grained and mellow, with rich golden?yellow tone and natural grain, covered by deep lustrous patina. The knob is high?relief carved with frolicking chilong dragons. A dominant chilong rests at centre, surrounded by several smaller ones in twisting dynamic poses, with finely rendered manes and musculature. Multi?layer round?relief carving reflects supreme court craftsmanship. The side bears regular?script mark ??Manufactured by the Imperial Workshop??. The seal face bears vermilion imperial seal characters in solemn well?balanced seal?script, with robust rounded strokes and sharp deep grooves. Heavy aged cinnabar seal?paste remains.
