A round serving tray with a pair of cast serving pieces. The tray measures about 12 inches across and is set with a white and grey veined marble panel inside a silver-tone metal gallery with a reeded pierced edge; the underside is a dark navy finished board standing on three small ball feet. The fork and spoon run about 10.5 inches each and are cast in the Renaissance revival taste: deeply pierced bowls modeled with cherubs among scrolling leaves and flowers, figural stems, and finials in the form of a small cast figure on the fork and a shell and scroll on the spoon. No sterling, .925, silver plate or maker mark is visible on either piece in the photos, so these are best treated as silver-tone cast white metal or plate rather than solid silver; the original consignor listing described them as silver-plated. Condition is good, with dark patina settled in the recesses, rubbing on the high points, minor finish loss in the spoon bowl, and light surface wear to the marble and the metal rim. Sold as-is.
