Three small heart-themed containers. (1) A round lithographed tin about 3.5 inches across and 2.75 inches tall, printed with a red and blue folk-art quilted heart on a cream lid over a red body with a flowered band; the base is marked Potpourri Press, Greensboro, N.C., Made in Hong Kong and still carries its old Dixie Pottery price sticker reading regular price 2.00, our price 1.19. The consignor note gave this tin as Polytin, but the base plainly reads Potpourri Press. (2) A heart-shaped tin about 2.25 inches across, cream with red hearts and gold leaf vines, marked Hugs n Kisses with the Bristol Ware logo and Made in USA. Bristol Ware was the decorative tin line of J. L. Clark and is collected in its own right. (3) A round bentwood-style pantry box about 2.75 inches across, pink body with a cream lid stenciled with a red heart and leaf spray inside a blue rim line, fitted with a pink satin ribbon. Condition is very good on the two tins, with light scratching and interior scuffing, and good on the wood box, which shows tan age spotting across the lid. Sold as-is.
