Pair of Silver-Tone Pierced Jingle Ball Bells

Two pierced metal jingle balls, each about 2 inches across, hung from red twisted cords with tassels. Each ball is stamped in two halves and joined at a raised center band, with the upper and lower domes cut through in heart shapes and small rectangular slots so sound can carry, and a small hinged loop at the top for hanging. The finish is a bright silver tone. No sterling, .925 or maker mark is visible anywhere in the photos, so these should be taken as silver-tone or plated metal rather than solid silver; that is the first thing to check on any piece sold as silver, since a real mark is normally stamped where it can be found. Not tested for sound. Balls of this pattern get used as Christmas ornaments, potpourri holders and door hangers. Condition is good, with light scratching, faint tarnish inside the pierced openings and slight fraying at the cord ends. Sold as-is. Photos are the most accurate description of this lot.
