Three antique glass insulators of the kind used on telegraph, telephone, and power lines. All three are Hemingray, which does not match the original consignor listing; that listing named W. Brookfield and Whitall Tatum, and no Brookfield or Whitall Tatum marking appears anywhere in the photos. (1) Blue aqua insulator embossed HEMINGRAY-42 with MADE IN U.S.A. on the base, about 4 1/2 inches tall, with a light internal fracture or bruise in the lower skirt that shows when light passes through it. (2) A second Hemingray-42 in a milky, frosted pale aqua of the same size, with heavy mineral haze and old line dirt in the threads. (3) Small clear insulator about 3 3/4 inches tall, embossed HEMINGRAY on the front with MADE IN U.S.A. and mold numbers on the base; the size matches the common Hemingray-16. All three retain sound threaded pinholes and beaded skirts and show line dirt and light surface scuffing, with no rim chipping visible in the photos. Condition is good. Sold as-is.
