Pair of Ribbed Glass Refrigerator Pitchers

Pair of clear pressed glass refrigerator pitchers with vertical ribbed panels, squared bodies, molded glass side handles and white plastic screw-on lids with hinged pour flaps. Each stands roughly 9 inches tall and holds about two quarts. The original consignor listing gave the height as 12 cm, under 5 inches, which the photos do not support - these are full size table and refrigerator pitchers, not small storage jars, and each has an integral glass handle rather than a plain jar body. The bases carry small molded numbers and the letters USA, typical of American pressed glass beverage servers made from the 1960s through the 1980s. Both are in good condition with no chips or cracks visible, light interior film and a few scuffs on the lids consistent with regular household use. A matched pair like this displays and serves well for iced tea, juice or lemonade and stores upright on a refrigerator shelf. Sold as-is. Photos are the most accurate description of this lot.
