Eight kitchen collectibles: three salt and pepper shaker pairs plus two glass containers. (1) A ceramic watermelon shaker set with a blue foil Made in Japan label on the base and both plastic stoppers present. (2) A ceramic farmer and wife pair standing about 3 to 3 and one half inches tall, each with an oval Made in China foil label. (3) A pair of clear pressed glass shakers in a diamond and swirl pattern with chrome tone screw tops, no maker mark visible. (4) A green tinted glass cheese shaker with a black plastic perforated lid and a partial paper label. (5) A clear Ball mason jar mug with an applied handle, Ball embossed in script, and an aluminum lid. Condition is good with light use wear; a few foil labels are rubbed and the cheese shaker label is partly peeled. The original consignor listing described six shaker sets, but the photos show six individual shakers making up three pairs. Figural novelty shakers are one of the steadiest small collectible categories, and an intact original label is what separates a good set from an ordinary one. Sold as-is.
