Three vintage license plates and a metal advertising thermometer. (1) and (2) A matched pair of Texas Truck plates, both numbered 3MH-T23, white with blue characters and a small red state silhouette dividing the letter and number groups, on the white and blue base Texas used from the late 1970s into the 1980s. (3) A 1964 Oklahoma plate numbered 312-527 and marked COMM TRUCK along the bottom. The original consignor listing called this one a Contractor plate and described a separate unidentified rusted plate, but the photos show three plates in total and the heavily rusted one is this Oklahoma plate. (4) A painted steel wall thermometer roughly 12 inches long, printed Atlas Copco Authorized Distributor at the top and HTE Compressed Air Solutions, a division of HTE Technologies, Compressors Parts Lube Service, below. Condition is fair - the Texas pair has chalky soiling and edge rust, the Oklahoma plate is rusted through the paint on both faces, and the thermometer is spotted and dulled. Not tested for accuracy.
