Nine small ceramic and glass collectibles, most of them mid-century novelty pieces. (1) and (2) A pair of miniature ceramic teapot salt and pepper shakers, one lid marked S and the other P, each printed with a verse - one titled My House and the other Guests - and both carrying gold foil stickers on the base reading EFCCO Quality Imports San Francisco California, Made in Japan. (3) A glossy spotted fawn figurine about 3 inches tall. (4) A small white rooster and (5) a blue bird, each pierced with shaker holes in the base. (6) and (7) Two matte bisque animal figures with tan and brown markings; the original consignor listing called one a mouse and the ears and snout do read that way, though they could as easily be piglets. (8) and (9) Two small clear glass shaker jars with perforated metal tops, wire bail closures and embossed star panels, the bases embossed 1893. Condition is good with light surface wear and some loss to the printed verses. Japanese novelty shakers of this era are widely collected and an intact maker sticker adds to the value. Sold as-is.
