Lot of 10 John Wayne VHS tapes, a strong run of his best-known Westerns and adventure pictures in major-studio home video releases. (1) Rio Bravo with Dean Martin and Ricky Nelson, Warner Bros. Westerns, 11050. (2) The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance, Paramount Home Video, 6114. (3) El Dorado, Paramount, 6625. (4) Rio Grande with Maureen O'Hara, VHS 3457. (5) Hatari!, Paramount, 066293, in a paperboard slipcase. (6) Big Jake, Fox Video Selections, 7149. (7) Chisum, Warner Home Video, 11089. (8) North to Alaska, Fox Video Western Classics, 1212. (9) Cahill United States Marshal, Warner Bros. Westerns, 15181. (10) True Grit, Paramount, 6833. Several are still in factory shrink wrap, including The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance, North to Alaska and Cahill; the rest have been opened. Sleeves show shelf wear, edge rubbing and light corner creasing from storage. Sealed studio Westerns still draw collectors, and John Wayne remains one of the most collected names on tape. Condition is good overall. Tapes are not tested for playback. Sold as-is. Photos are the most accurate description of this lot. Written descriptions are a guide only and may contain errors.
