Two unrelated pieces from the same consignment, sold together. (1) A Tower folding movie light bar. The plate on the underside reads Cat. No. 6673 UL and MADE EXPRESSLY FOR SEARS, ROEBUCK AND CO. AND SIMPSONS-SEARS LTD. Tower was the Sears house brand, and this hinged bar takes four screw-base photoflood lamps, with a rotary control knob and an attached two-prong cord. A second printed plate is a 4 LIGHT MOVIE EXPOSURE GUIDE from Harwood Mfg. Co., Cat. 526, 120V 10A 60 cyc, listing lens openings for ASA 80 Super-XX, ASA 32 Super X or Hy-Pan, and ASA 16 Kodachrome Tungsten film at 16 frames per second. No lamps are installed. (2) A double-pointed pick head measuring about 19 to 20 inches long against the tape measure shown, with a rectangular eye for a handle; no handle is included. Both pieces show heavy age. The light bar is scuffed with paint loss and dulled metal, and the pick head is deeply rusted and pitted with a dark patina. The consignor listing called the light a Tower Line tension tool, which the markings do not support. Condition is fair for both. Not tested for function. Sold as-is.
