A set of eight silver-plated wine or water goblets, manufactured in Italy for the F.B. Rogers Silver Company. Each vessel is designed with a plain, conical bowl featuring a slightly flared rim. The bowls are supported by ornate, textured stems decorated with a foliate and grapevine-inspired motif. Each goblet terminates in a simple, circular domed foot. The underside of the base is stamped with the maker mark F. B. ROGERS in an arched format, positioned above the word SILVERPLATE and the word ITALY. Dimensions: H approx. 14.3 cm (measured against a ruler). Condition: The set exhibits significant surface tarnish and oxidation across the bowls, stems, and bases, resulting in a dark iridescent patina with tones of blue, purple, and gold. There is light surface wear and minor scratching throughout, consistent with age and use.
