A set of eight wine goblets produced by the F.B. Rogers Silver Company. Each vessel is crafted from silver-plated base metal and features a flared, trumpet-shaped bowl. The bowls are supported by cast stems with a heavily textured organic nugget or bark-like relief pattern, terminating in circular stepped bases. The underside of the base on each goblet bears the stamped mark F.B. ROGERS, SILVERPLATE, and ITALY. Dimensions (measured against a ruler): Height approx. 17.5 cm. Condition: The set displays heavy and uneven tarnish throughout, resulting in a dark, iridescent blue and purple patina in various sections. Surface wear is present in the form of fine scratches and small oxidation spots consistent with age and use.
