A set of four sterling silver salad forks manufactured by Wallace Silversmiths, featuring the iconic Grande Baroque pattern. Introduced in 1941, this ornate pattern is characterized by its elaborate rococo-style pierced handles with deep relief floral and scroll decoration. The terminals feature a central blossom surrounded by intricate acanthus leaves and scrolling openwork, a motif mirrored at the junction of the handle and tines. Each piece is clearly stamped on the reverse with the word WALLACE, the company deer head symbol, and the word STERLING. Length approx. 17.8 cm Total weight 171 g. Condition: Overall good condition with surface wear and light scratches typical of domestic use. There is minor tarnish in the crevices of the relief decoration. No significant dents or damage observed to the tines or handles.
