Manufactured by Miroku of Japan for Browning Arms Company (Morgan, Utah & Montreal, P.Q.), the barrel is stamped "BROWNING MODEL 71 CALIBER .348 WIN". The satin-finished receiver is dressed in fine scroll engraving with gold-inlaid wildlife on both sides — a bounding whitetail deer on one panel and a pair of bull elk on the other — a level of embellishment well above the standard-grade Model 71. The rifle carries a deep blued round barrel and magazine tube, a large curved lever loop, and a folding adjustable leaf rear sight paired with a hooded front sight. The stock and forearm are cut from strikingly figured walnut with fine diamond-point checkering and a high-gloss finish, showing excellent, well-kept condition throughout. A superb step up from the standard Model 71 — genuine gold game inlays, two-sided engraving, and exhibition-grade wood make this a strong centerpiece for any Browning or Winchester lever-action collection.
