The satin-finished receiver carries a fully hand-engraved scene of a snarling grizzly bear set against a mountain backdrop, framed in a rope border with dense scroll and floral engraving covering the receiver and lever. A banner reads "MODEL 1895 — 100TH ANNIVERSARY," and the engraving is signed "Bottega C. Giovanelli," identifying it as the work of a named engraving house rather than a generic factory pattern. The stock and forearm are cut from attractive walnut with fine diamond-point checkering, paired with a deep blued round barrel and magazine tube.
