Radierung” lower left Date: Circa 1925 Subject: Marienplatz, Munich, Germany Artist Biography Josef Windisch (1884–1968) was an Austrian-born painter and printmaker who became particularly associated with views of Munich, Bavaria and the Alpine landscape. His graphic work includes finely rendered architectural and city views, particularly scenes of Munich. Other documented Windisch prints include views of the Altes Rathaus and other Munich architectural subjects.
