Lincoln Cent Tubes (5) Dates Mostly Unverified

Five clear plastic storage tubes filled with Lincoln cents, each with a hand-labeled cap. These are not factory-crimped bank rolls; the caps come off and two were opened for the photos. Only the outer coin of each tube is visible, so roughly 49 coins per tube are unseen and the counts cannot be confirmed. Every readable coin is a Memorial cent. Confirmed from the photographs: an end coin reading 1965 with no mint mark, correct for a year when no US mint marks were used; an end coin reading 1973 with a clear D; and an end coin reading 1959 with no mint mark. That 1959 tube needs care: its cap sticker has the mint mark changed by hand, a bold D written over a P, while the visible end coin shows no mint mark. Take it as unattributed. The 1963 tube's last digit is broken by a bubble in the plastic, and the 1974 tube's end coins were never photographed, so both rest on the label alone. Yellowed tape and grime mark two tubes, and side views show brown toned edges among coins labeled BU. Estimated Value: $10 to $25. Sold as-is. Photos are the most accurate description of this lot.
