A 2013 Canadian Silver Maple Leaf holding one full troy ounce of .9999 fine silver. The catalog title called this a round; it is not. It is a struck legal tender coin of Canada with a face value of five dollars from the Royal Canadian Mint. The obverse carries the Susanna Blunt portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, and the reverse shows the single maple leaf with CANADA above and FINE SILVER 1 OZ ARGENT PUR below. Both sides show fine parallel hairlines and light scratches in the fields, and the reverse carries milky hazy patches and a few dark specks. No toning, corrosion or rim damage. It sits in a plain clear snap capsule, a storage holder and not a grading slab; no company, grade or certification number appears anywhere. Those milky patches are the well known milk spots the Royal Canadian Mint has fought for years; they are cosmetic and do not change the silver content. The metal alone runs about $66 at recent prices near $66 per ounce, and spot moves daily, so check it before you bid. Estimated Value: $66 to $75. Sold as-is.
