A Series 1995 ten dollar Federal Reserve Note of the pre-1999 design, Hamilton on the face, the Treasury Building on the back. The seal legend reads Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City Missouri, the letter J sits in the seal, and the district number 10 repeats in the four corners. Serial number J 66792732 A, Withrow and Rubin signatures, FW plate marking for the Fort Worth plant. Here is something many bidders get wrong: the series year on paper money is not the year the note was printed. A series date changes only when the design or one of the two signatures changes, so Series 1995 notes were run off for several years. The paper is cleaner and crisper than most of its age, but three corners are bent and dog-eared and show as pale folded triangles. A soft vertical center fold and a light horizontal fold are present, with light handling soil. No tears, tape, writing or pinholes were seen. Estimated Value: $8 to $9. Sold as-is.
