A Bandwagon Fifty States Quarter Collection board of fifty circulated clad Washington quarters. This one is not a complete fifty-state set, and the title says so on purpose. All fifty recesses are occupied, but the slot printed Ohio holds a second Idaho quarter, the 2007 peregrine falcon design reading ESTO PERPETUA, the same coin that fills the Idaho slot on the other panel. There is no Ohio quarter in the board. A filled slot is not the same thing as a complete set, and this is the most frequent complaint on album lots. Every coin lies reverse up, so no mint mark on any of the fifty can be checked. On metal: since the Coinage Act of 1965 the quarter has been two outer layers of copper-nickel bonded to a solid copper core, with no silver, so there is no melt floor under these the way there is under a pre-1965 quarter. Fifty quarters are $12.50 face, a circulated clad group is worth close to that, and the clean board carries the rest. Estimated Value: $10 to $16. Sold as-is.
