A Bandwagon Fifty States Quarter Collection board with all fifty recesses filled and all fifty designs matching their labels, North Dakota and Ohio included. Condition needs plain talk. The New Hampshire quarter carries a green blotch across its right side that reads as corrosion rather than toning, and Nevada shows a smaller greenish patch. North Carolina has heavy orange and rose toning, and New Mexico and Montana are tan. That coloring cannot be identified from photographs and may be toning, a coating or the lighting. Why it happens is worth knowing: cardboard, paper and adhesives give off sulfur and hold humidity against a coin, and on a clad quarter the copper core is the layer that reacts, which is why spots come up green. All coins are displayed reverse up, so no mint mark can be checked. Clad holds no silver and no melt. Fifty quarters are $12.50 face, a circulated set is worth about that, and the board is a genuine part of the package. Estimated Value: $12 to $20. Sold as-is.
