Three circulated Buffalo nickels, three coins rather than the two the listing implied. Two dates read clearly on the shoulder, 1934 and 1935. The third nickel has the date area rubbed completely smooth, with no readable digit at all, so it is offered as a dateless piece and no year is claimed for it. The 1935 is the best of the three, with braid, feathers and cheekbone showing under moderate wear. The 1934 is a touch softer with darker toning around the devices. The dateless coin is the most worn, hair and braid heavily smoothed, with a slightly granular surface. All three are medium gray nickel with light golden brown tone, and the bison horns and tail tips are worn while the outlines stay complete. There is no corrosion, cleaning brightness or rim damage. The reverses were shot only as one small group photo, so no mint mark can be read reliably on any of them. The date sits on a raised shoulder that takes every rub, which is why dateless Buffalos are so common. Copper nickel, no silver. Estimated Value: $3 to $7. Sold as-is.
