1900 Barber Dime Mint Mark Not Legible

A 90 percent silver Barber dime dated 1900, the date worn but readable in both obverse photographs. The mint mark sits below the wreath bow on the reverse, and that area is heavily worn and dark. The photographs cannot show whether a letter is present, so this dime is offered with no mint attribution. It appears to grade about Good. The portrait is a flat silhouette with the wreath leaves and the LIBERTY on the headband worn away, leaving the outline of head and cap, and the lettering is complete but shallow. On the reverse ONE DIME is bold while the wreath is worn to outlines. Toning is dark gray and brown with lighter high points and a few dark spots. There is no luster, no corrosion, no cleaning and no damage. It holds about 0.0723 troy ounce of pure silver, roughly $4.75 at recent prices near $66 per ounce, and metal moves, so check spot before you bid. Charles Barber placed the mint mark below the bow, a low spot that wears early, which is exactly the trouble here. Estimated Value: $6 to $12. Sold as-is.
