Eight golden dollars from the Sacagawea and Native American series, struck in manganese brass over a copper core with no gold and no silver. Seven carry a readable obverse date with a D mint mark below and right of it, two 2001-D and five 2000-D. The eighth is a later Native American dollar whose reverse shows a kneeling figure planting, with corn beside it, instead of the soaring eagle. That type carries its date on the edge, which was not photographed, so it cannot be dated. All eight are uncirculated with full detail and no wear. Several show milky greenish blotches and dark speckling typical of the alloy, and the undated piece is the most spotted and dullest. One coin has a small bright green fleck on the cheek that could be verdigris or loose debris, too small to call with certainty. Starting in 2009 the Mint kept the Sacagawea portrait but changed the reverse each year to honor Native American contributions, which is why one reverse here does not match the others.
