An assortment of vintage shoe care items consisting of three primary components. The first is a Mapel battery-operated shoe brush set in its original illustrated green and cream cardboard box. The set features a hand-held power unit constructed from white and black plastic with a red sliding power switch, accompanied by three interchangeable heads: a circular brush with black bristles and two soft polishing pads in black and burgundy. The second component is a travel shoe kit in a brown hide leather case with a metal flip-clasp, stamped REAL HIDE and MADE IN ENGLAND in gold-tone lettering to the interior. This kit contains two small wooden-backed brushes with black bristles and a folded cleaning cloth. The third item is a large standalone brush with a dark, figured wood handle featuring an applied metal script monogram R and dense, light-coloured natural bristles. Measurements read from a visible scale: Large brush length approx. 22 cm Leather case length approx. 11 cm Mapel box length approx. 14 cm. Condition: All items are in used, vintage condition. The Mapel box shows significant age-related wear, staining, and scuffing; the battery-operated unit has not been tested for functionality. The leather case displays surface wear, scratches, and cracking to the finish. Brushes and cloths within the leather kit show heavy signs of use with polish staining. The large wooden brush shows light surface wear to the wood but is otherwise in good vintage condition.
