A Canadian-made Kodak Cine Scopemeter 8mm movie camera, produced by Canadian Kodak Co. Limited in Toronto. This 8mm roll film camera features a three-lens rotating turret system, fitted with a Kodak Normal 13mm f/1.9 lens, a Wide Angle Ektanar f/1.9 lens, and a telephoto lens. The die-cast metal body has a textured light grey finish and incorporates a built-in Scopemeter exposure meter system coupled to the viewfinder. Functional controls include a manual aperture dial ranging from f/1.9 to f/16, a mechanical winding key, and a sliding lock/open switch for film access. The front plate includes a selector for a Type A filter. The camera is housed in its original brown leather field case, which is specifically marked for Brownie movie cameras and includes an adjustable brown woven fabric carrying strap. Dimensions (total length measured against ruler): approx. 17.8 cm. Condition: The camera is in fair cosmetic condition and requires thorough cleaning due to a significant accumulation of dust and particulate matter across the body and lens surfaces. Minor surface oxidation is visible on exposed screw heads. The leather field case shows moderate wear, including scuffing to the edges and a small area of surface loss near the winding key opening. The mechanical winding mechanism and trigger appear intact but have not been tested for operational accuracy.
