A collection of 1 lot of vintage tea towels, comprising several mid-century examples of kitchen linens in linen and linen-blend fabrics. The group features both screen-printed and hand-embroidered designs. Printed motifs include a floral spray of blue cornflowers and pink bell-shaped flowers with a geometric stepped border, and a bold, two-tone red pattern depicting stylised tulips and scrolling foliage. The hand-embroidered examples include a lemonade-themed design featuring a pitcher with a red stirrer and drinking glass, and a teatime-themed design with a teapot, teacups, and a pair of cherries, all worked in various coloured threads. Condition: The textiles are in good vintage condition, exhibiting signs of light domestic use consistent with age. One towel displays a small, distinct brown stain to the centre field. Occasional loose threads are present on the hand-embroidered sections.
