A pair of late 19th-century frosted white glass vases, produced in the Victorian Bristol glass style. Each vase features an ovoid body rising from a stepped pedestal base to a flaring neck with a silvered rim. The exterior is decorated with hand-painted polychrome enamel botanical sprays, depicting lilies of the valley, white blossoms with yellow centres, and tall purple and pink spiked flowers. The glass has a frosted satin finish, and the bases are ground and polished flat. Dimensions (measured from tape measure): Height approx. 24 cm Base diameter approx. 9 cm. Condition: The vases are in overall fair to good condition, showing signs of age and use. One vase exhibits a significant shallow surface chip or loss of the frosted finish on the neck below the rim. There is visible wear and oxidisation to the silvered rims, and the enamel decoration shows minor surface wear and scuffs. The bases show typical light shelf wear and minor surface marks.
