A matching clear pedestal glassware set in the Dakota pattern, also known as Baby Thumbprint. The lot comprises a pedestal cake stand and a large lidded compote. Both pieces feature a prominent band of pressed circular thumbprint motifs around the rims, a design element mirrored on the foot of the cake stand and the lower edge of the compote bowl. The bodies of both items and the dome of the lid are further decorated with an acid-etched frieze depicting a trailing vine of serrated leaves and berries. The pedestal stems are designed with central multifaceted diamond-cut knops, and the compote is surmounted by a substantial matching faceted glass finial. Dimensions (measured against a ruler): Cake stand: height approx. 19 cm, diameter approx. 24.1 cm Lidded compote: height approx. 33.6 cm, diameter approx. 21 cm. Condition: The items are in good overall condition with no visible chips, cracks, or repairs. Minor surface wear and light shelf-wear to the bases are present, consistent with age and typical use.
