Jordy Studio Pottery Owl Plaque

This ovid studio pottery wall plaque is by the workshop of Einar and Bess Jordy. The stoneware piece features a stylized bird motif set against a geometric background, rendered with a combination of off-white crackle glaze and earth-toned slips. Fine sgraffito lines define the bird form and the surrounding patterns, with an incised signature Jordy on the reverse.Diameter: 5 inches.The plaque is in good condition, featuring an intentional crackle glaze finish. No chips, cracks, or restorations are evident. The reverse mounting block shows minor age-related wear but remains firmly attached.
