This original watercolor on paper by Anita G. Saviko is titled Misty Marsh and belongs to her Fall Misty Series from 2002. The atmospheric landscape features soft washes of mauve and pink depicting a scene along Highway 2 in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. It is signed SAVIKO in the lower right and presented in a white mat within a slim gold-toned metal frame. The reverse retains the artist's original studio label and handwritten inscriptions providing the title, series, and location.Visible Artwork: 6.75 in (W) x 4.75 in (H)Frame: 10 in (W) x 8 in (H).Excellent condition throughout. The paper and pigments show no signs of foxing, toning, or fading. The mat is clean and the gold-toned frame exhibits only minor surface scuffing consistent with age and handling.
