This original egg tempera on board depicts a serene interior scene featuring a rush-seated chair set against a multi-pane window. The work skillfully employs light and shadow to cast geometric patterns on a lavender wall overlooking a verdant rolling landscape. The piece is signed at the lower left and is further inscribed with the title and medium on the reverse. It is housed in a modern silver-tone Nielsen metal frame. Frame: 12.5 x 10.5 in.
