This lithograph reproduction titled Andersonville Prison, Camp Sumter, Georgia was drawn from memory by Thomas O'Dea, a survivor and veteran of the 16th Maine Infantry. Produced by Henry Seibert and Brother and put on stone by T.J.S. Landis, the panoramic view depicts the prison as it appeared on August 1, 1864. The print includes extensive margin illustrations and two comprehensive reference keys identifying sixty specific scenes and locations. Printed on heavy, textured paper. Measures: 24 x 16 inches.Significant foxing is present across the sheet and prominently on the reverse. The document exhibits heavy horizontal and vertical crease lines from being stored folded into eighths. General age-toning is visible with minor tears at fold intersections and along the outer edges.
