This ovid studio pottery wall plaque is by the workshop of Einar and Bess Jordy. The stoneware body is decorated with iron-red, charcoal, and grey tones, featuring rows of impressed stippling and a green crystalline glaze on the beak. A vertical band of geometric triangles accents the right side, and the reverse is incised with the artist signature and fitted with a wire hanging loop.Height: 6 inchesWidth: 4.5 inches.Minor chipping is present on the top right and bottom left edges. Fine crazing is visible within the reddish-brown slip sections, and the piece shows light surface wear consistent with age.
