Four piece molded plastic kitchen set produced by F. and F. Mold and Die Works of Dayton, Ohio, made in the 1950s as an Aunt Jemima advertising premium for Quaker Oats. (1) A syrup pitcher with a molded pouring spout, loop handle, and lift off head, plus three matching shakers labeled (2) Cinnamon, (3) Nutmeg, and (4) Paprika in script lettering across the apron. All four are molded in red plastic with a white apron and collar and hand applied paint. The base of each piece is molded F. and F. MOLD and DIE WORKS, DAYTON, OHIO, MADE IN U.S.A. The pitcher stands noticeably taller than the shakers. Condition is fair to good. All four are complete with no cracks or breaks visible, but there is real paint loss and rubbing across the faces, aprons, and lettering, heaviest on the Nutmeg and Paprika shakers and lighter on the pitcher. The molded F. and F. mark separates original period pieces from later reproductions. Authenticity has not been verified by Crawford Auction Service. Estimated Value: $40 to $75 based on comparable recent sales. Sold as-is. Photos are the most accurate description of this lot. Written descriptions are a guide only and may contain errors.
