Simsbury Soldiers in the War of the Revolution, a genealogical and historical reference compiled and published in 1982 by the Abigail Phelps Chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution, Simsbury, Connecticut. Softcover with a light blue printed cover, produced by the Dan-Kris Publishing Division of The Four D Company. Organized as entries for Simsbury area men who served in the Revolutionary War. Each entry gives birth, marriage, and death dates, parents and family lines, and details of military service, plus historical background on the town. Pages photographed are numbered in the 140s, so it runs well past a hundred pages. Condition is good for its age. The covers show shelf rubbing and edge wear, the spine has scuffing with a small chip at the lower corner, and the interior pages shown are clean and tight. Chapter published DAR books were printed in small runs and are almost never reprinted. Estimated Value: Comparable sales data was not available.
