F B Rogers Silver Plate Coffee Carafe Set

Mid century F.B. Rogers silver plated and glass coffee carafe with its matching warming stand, three pieces in all. The carafe is clear blown glass with a bulbous body and a flared pouring lip, fitted with a wide silver plated collar pierced with an ornate openwork band and secured by two slotted screws. A heavy scrolled silver plated handle attaches to that collar, and a domed silver plated lid with a scrolled finial drops into the neck. The stand is a footed silver plated cradle on three cast scroll legs with shell feet, holding a clear glass candle cup underneath to warm the pot at the table. The base of the stand is stamped F.B. ROGERS. Condition is very good. The glass is clean and free of chips or cracks in the photos, the plate is intact with attractive rainbow toning and light tarnish through the collar and the cradle, and the candle cup shows red wax residue from use.
