This pair of sterling silver serving spoons includes one with a novelty pea pod handle and one with a cast cherub head handle. Both spoons feature scalloped bowls with intricate pierced scrollwork designs and are stamped STERLING in rectangular cartouches on the reverse. They are finished with detailed figural motifs and decorative scroll handles. Each spoon measures 4.25 inches in length with a combined weight of 1.160 OZT. Both spoons exhibit light tarnish consistent with age, particularly in recessed casting and piercings (photos 1, 4). There are no visible breaks or repairs to the pierced bowls. Minor surface scratches are present from use (photo 5).
