A pair of sterling silver souvenir nut spoons. Both pieces feature ornate pierced bowls centered by a heart motif, with handles commemorating Dartmouth College and Pikes Peak. The reverse stems are impressed with three individual cartouches containing an eagle looking left, the capital letter G, and a lion rampant, followed by the word STERLING in a rectangle. Each spoon measures 4.5 inches in length and the total weight is 1.335 OZT. Both spoons are in excellent condition with light surface scratches and expected natural tarnishing consistent with age (photos 1, 6). The intricate pierced work in the bowls and the detailed handle reliefs remain intact and well-preserved.
